Irvine, California — In-N-Out Burger is continuing its steady expansion across the western and southern United States, announcing six new restaurant locations that will soon welcome customers in five different states.
The California-based burger chain, known for its limited menu and loyal customer following, revealed the upcoming locations on its official Grand Openings page. Although exact opening dates have not yet been announced, fans now know where the next restaurants will be built.
The announcement follows the company’s latest restaurant opening in Colorado as it continues expanding beyond its longtime California roots.
Six New In-N-Out Locations Coming Soon
According to the company, new restaurants are planned for the following locations:
- Commerce, California – 6233 Telegraph Ave.
- Stockton, California – 10537 Trinity Pkwy.
- Madison, Tennessee – 1900 Gallatin Pike North
- San Tan Valley, Arizona – 33375 N. Gary Rd.
- St. George, Utah – 4643 S. Pioneer Rd.
- Twin Falls, Idaho – 1965 Blue Lakes Blvd. North
While construction continues at several sites, In-N-Out has not released official grand opening dates for any of the new restaurants.
Customers eager to visit the new locations are expected to receive additional updates from the company in the coming months.
Company Continues Slow and Steady Growth
Unlike many major fast-food chains, In-N-Out has long followed a deliberate expansion strategy.
Founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California, the company began as a small 10-foot-by-10-foot hamburger stand.
The founders focused on maintaining food quality and operational consistency rather than rapidly opening restaurants across the country.
That philosophy has remained in place for decades, with the Snyder family continuing to own and operate the business.

Another hallmark of the company is that none of its restaurants are franchised, allowing the chain to maintain direct control over every location.
More Than 400 Restaurants Nationwide
Today, In-N-Out operates more than 400 locations across ten states.
Customers can currently find restaurants in:
- California
- Nevada
- Arizona
- Utah
- Texas
- Oregon
- Colorado
- Idaho
- Washington
- Tennessee
The company’s newest restaurant opened on June 24 in Timnath, Colorado, a growing community near Fort Collins.
That opening marked another step in In-N-Out’s ongoing regional expansion while maintaining its reputation for carefully selecting new markets.
Chain Continues Building on Historic Legacy
Beyond its famous burgers and hand-cut fries, In-N-Out is also credited with introducing one of the first modern drive-thru restaurant concepts.
According to company history, founders Harry and Esther Snyder developed what is widely believed to have been the world’s first drive-thru shortly after opening the original restaurant.
More than seven decades later, the company continues building on that legacy while remaining one of the few major family-owned fast-food chains in the United States.
With six additional restaurants now in development, loyal customers across multiple states will soon have even more opportunities to enjoy one of America’s most recognizable burger brands.
