LOS ANGELES, California — Police are investigating a violent mass stabbing that left at least five people injured Friday night near a Metro Rail station in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park neighborhood. Authorities said multiple victims suffered severe lacerations during the attack, which unfolded on a pedestrian bridge near the intersection of Adams Boulevard and Flower Street.
The incident prompted a large emergency response from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and USC Public Safety, as officers worked to secure the area, assist victims and search for those responsible. By later Friday night, police confirmed that two suspects had been taken into custody as the investigation continued.
Five People Injured in Violent Attack
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the stabbing occurred on the pedestrian bridge connected to the Metro Rail Station near Adams Boulevard and Flower Street.

Officials continue working to identify everyone involved while notifying families as appropriate.
Two Suspects Taken Into Custody
In an update later Friday night, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that two suspects had been taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.
Authorities have not yet released the suspects’ identities or announced any formal criminal charges.
