15-Year-Old Hospitalized in Stable Condition After Detroit Shooting

DETROIT — A 15-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot on Detroit’s east side Thursday evening, according to the Detroit Police Department.

Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 6:13 p.m. in the 7300 block of Fielding Street. Officers responded to the scene and found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition, police confirmed.
