A beloved dining spot in Palm Beach County has served its last plate. The Golden Corral Buffet & Grill located at 389 Winchester Park Blvd. in Boynton Beach permanently closed its doors on July 26 after more than two decades of service.
Why Did It Close?
Representatives say the closure came down to two main reasons — the restaurant’s lease coming to an end and broader changes in how the business operates. The location had been open since 2002, making it a staple for local families for over 20 years.
What Happens to the Property?
The 2.67-acre property is now listed for sale at $4.85 million. The site includes a 10,192-square-foot building and 160 parking spaces. According to listing agent Gary Broidis of Atlantic Commercial Group, the property is currently under contract.
Given its flexible commercial zoning, the space could be redeveloped into multi-tenant retail, medical offices, or other businesses. It sits alongside major names like ULTA Beauty, PetSmart, Barnes & Noble, and TD Bank — making it a prime location for future development.

Palm Beach County residents still have one option. The Golden Corral in Royal Palm Beach at 10100 Fox Trail Road South remains open for those who want to enjoy the classic buffet experience.
