Los Angeles, California — French fries are finally getting their own celebration as the first-ever Los Angeles French Fry Festival is set to debut this summer, giving food lovers an entire day dedicated to one of America’s most popular comfort foods.
The event, organized by Bucket Listers and Street Food Cinema, will take place on July 11 at The Autry Museum of the American West, bringing together local restaurants, specialty vendors, and fry enthusiasts for a unique culinary experience unlike anything the city has hosted before.
Whether you prefer crispy shoestring fries, loaded waffle fries, or creative potato dishes topped with gourmet ingredients, the festival promises something for every kind of fry fan.
More Than a Dozen Vendors Will Serve Creative Fry Dishes
Attendees can expect a wide variety of food from more than a dozen participating vendors, many of which are well-known favorites across Southern California.
Participating vendors include Dave’s Hot Chicken, Marathon Burger, Frites Freak Belgian Fries, The Churro Man, Mr. Charlie’s, Fry Day, Happy Ice, and The Chick Truck, among others.
Festival organizers say guests will be able to sample everything from classic French fries and sweet potato fries to poutine, tornado potatoes, loaded fries, and even dessert-inspired fry creations.
The event is designed to showcase both traditional favorites and creative twists that highlight just how versatile fries can be.

Beyond the food, visitors will have plenty of opportunities to participate in interactive activities throughout the day.
