Last month Corey Milton, Director of Community Outreach at Royal Starr Film Festival said that the Filmmaker Community Mixer attracted a counted attendance of 180 people. This month he says that participation should be even bigger.
How does he know how many people were in attendance? Every month he has to keep track of people present as the Royal Starr Film Festival approaches. To ensure that this happens, there are several things which are taking place at the same time, with expected special guests to be amongst the crowd.
Good Harbor Blue LLC, a motion picture picture company will be at the Mixer to accept headshots and resumes for the film “Champion Supreme”. These are PAID roles and crew positions! Look for the Good Harbor Blue LLC, cast and crew table for more information.
The Filmmaker Community Mixer is branching out out and starting to include casting agencies at their monthly mixers. The first one that can be announced is PRODUCTIONS PLUS – THE TALENT SHOP will be present. PRODUCTIONS PLUS is the midwest’s largest full-service talent agency, with a theatircal department encompasses talent for TV, film print and voiceover.
Corey says that more casting agency announcements are expected in the foreseeable future.
This will be an ideal time to update your headshot as Eze A. Enriquez of Artismo Studio Share will be set up to take professional headshots at a savings of only $12 per photo. What a bargain!

The Mixer begins at 7PM. Either bring your friends, or plan on meeting them here. Or come alone plan on meeting new friends. Either way do not stay home. Network with local cast and crew, apply for roles at casting tables, and even update your headshot.
