A car burst into flames after rolling over on a busy El Paso road Monday evening

EL PASO, Texas — A routine Monday evening commute turned dangerous when a vehicle rolled over and caught fire along one of El Paso’s major roadways.

The crash happened at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Transmountain East, also known as Loop 375, near Mile Marker 19.

According to a Sheriff’s spokesperson, a single vehicle lost control and rolled over, triggering a fire at the scene.

Emergency crews responded to the crash and worked to bring the situation under control.

Driver taken to hospital

The driver was transported to a local hospital following the crash.

Authorities described the injuries as non-life-threatening, and no other victims were reported at the scene.
