PRESCOTT, Arizona — A 7-year-old child left home Thursday evening and never came back.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received an urgent call reporting the child missing near Highway 89 in Prescott, close to the area known as Granite Dells. The child had wandered away from home, and those who called it in feared the child was headed toward a nearby creek.
