Two people sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Massapequa on Monday, August 17, according to local officials.
The crash took place at the intersection of Hicksville Road and Parkhill Avenue, John F. Scalesi Jr., who serves on the Nassau County Police Department commissioners’ council, confirmed.
Photos circulated by Scalesi showed a blue Ford pickup truck lying on its side along Parkhill Avenue following the impact. The vehicle’s front windshield appeared badly damaged, with glass and framework visibly detached from the frame.
Emergency responders treated both injured individuals at the site of the crash. According to Scalesi, neither person’s injuries were considered life-threatening or severe.
