Florida — Publix is continuing its steady expansion this summer with the opening of three new grocery stores across Florida, giving shoppers additional locations as the employee-owned supermarket chain grows its presence throughout the Southeast.

The July openings follow several recent store launches and further strengthen Publix’s footprint in its home state, where the company first began nearly a century ago.

According to the retailer, the new locations are scheduled to welcome customers between July 2 and July 16.

Today, the company employs more than 260,000 associates and is recognized for its full-service grocery stores, fresh bakery items, deli offerings, pharmacy services, and customer-focused shopping experience.

The retailer continues opening new stores each year to meet population growth and increased demand across the Southeast.

More Growth Expected

The July store openings reflect Publix’s long-term expansion strategy as it continues adding locations in fast-growing communities.

Industry observers expect the grocery chain to announce additional openings later this year as it strengthens its presence in existing markets while exploring opportunities in expanding neighborhoods.

For Florida shoppers, the newest stores represent another step in the company’s continued investment in serving communities across the state.
