Suspect Arrested After Stabbing Involving Restaurant Employees at Thunder Valley Casino

A suspect was taken into custody after a stabbing involving restaurant employees at Thunder Valley Casino Wednesday evening, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said the incident occurred around 7 p.m. inside the casino’s Dos Coyotes restaurant and involved five victims. A Thunder Valley Casino spokesperson said the stabbing took place in the restaurant’s kitchen area.

The casino confirmed that everyone involved was a restaurant employee and that no guests were affected.

According to investigators, one victim was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The remaining four victims were treated at the scene, also for injuries that were not life-threatening.

A local news crew at the scene observed the suspect, who was still wearing a kitchen apron, being placed into a patrol vehicle. Authorities have not yet released the suspect’s identity.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office said there is no ongoing threat to the public. The casino spokesperson confirmed that Thunder Valley Casino remains open to guests.
