A routine Sunday evening shift at a Domino’s in Pine Bluff, Arkansas turned deadly after a 50-year-old employee allegedly pulled out a gun and shot a younger co-worker dead inside the restaurant’s kitchen. The victim never made it out alive.
What Police Found at the Scene
Officers responded just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday to a Domino’s located at 2300 S. Olive Street — about 40 miles south of Little Rock. Inside the kitchen, they found 25-year-old Jarvis Bowden lying on the floor with a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
How It Happened
Witnesses told investigators that the incident began as a physical fight between Bowden and another employee. Jerry Henderson, 50, allegedly intervened — not to break it up, but to pull out a firearm and open fire. The reason Henderson chose to get involved has not been disclosed by police. It also remains unclear whether any customers were inside the store at the time.
Suspect Behind Bars
Henderson was arrested and booked into the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond. No court date has been listed in jail records as of yet.
He faces a charge of first-degree murder.
