Created and directed by Damien Leone, the franchise features Art the Clown’s unsettlingly silent and gruesome killings.
The highly anticipated “Terrifier 3” trailer premiered in select theaters after special screenings of 2022’s “Terrifier 2.”
In “Terrifier 2,” fierce teenager Sienna Shaw battles Art the Clown, managing to decapitate him.
However, the shocking twist reveals Art’s continued presence. Victoria Heyes, the sole survivor of the Halloween massacre from the first film, gives birth to Art’s decapitated living head in a mental institution.
Building on the mythology of Art, “Terrifier 2” reveals that the clown is an evil entity capable of repeated resurrection.
Director Damien Leone has promised that “Terrifier 3” will be the scariest and darkest installment of the franchise, moving away from the supernatural and fantasy elements seen in “Terrifier 2” and returning to the gritty and suspenseful tone of the first film.
“Terrifier 3” is set to hit theaters on October 25, 2024, with a later streaming release on Cineverse’s Screambox.
