Well Go USA has acquired the rights to this Christmas Horror-Thriller starring Chrissy Metz from “This Is Us.”
Directed by Damien LeVeck, known for his work on “The Cleansing Hour,” and written by Shannon Wells, “A Creature Was Stirring” puts a new spin on the home invasion trope. When a pair of burglars break into the home of Faith (Chrissy Metz) and her teenage daughter, they uncover a dangerous family secret that puts their lives at risk.
This chilling film will hit US cinemas on December 8th and be available on VOD from December 12th. Stay tuned for news of a UK/ROI release. As tensions rise, it becomes clear that there is an even greater evil lurking in the shadows.
This film boasts the talent of Chrissy Metz in a role like you’ve never seen before, alongside the beloved stars Annalise Basso, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Connor Paolo. Damien LeVeck directs under Skubalon Entertainment, known for their horror standout “The Cleansing Hour.” The script by Shannon Wells was an Academy Nicholls competition quarter-finalist. Tate Steinsiek designs the practical creature effects.
