The highly-anticipated release of the Doctor Who archives on BBC iPlayer is being sabotaged by none other than a real-life villain.

Thanks to a copyright claim by Stef Coburn, the son of An Unearthly Child writer Anthony Coburn, the inaugural Doctor Who saga will be conspicuously absent from the collection.

But Coburn’s vendetta against the Doctor Who fandom doesn’t end there.

In 2013, he demanded “lawful recompense” from the BBC for using the TARDIS, the show’s beloved symbol.

His outrageous antics have only escalated since then, with a trail of unhinged tweets filled with homophobia, transphobia, racism, and anti-vaccine propaganda. He even accused the BBC of contributing to his late father’s death.

While Coburn’s behavior is alarming and calls for intervention, it’s crucial that his actions be exposed and his vendetta thwarted.

Don’t let this villain ruin the Doctor Who archives for everyone else!
