Do you feel like a chilling diver into a haunted pool?
Blumhouse and James Wan have joined forces again to deliver another bone-chilling horror film that will leave you jumping out of your seat.
Earlier this year, the horror world was shaken by the collaboration between Jason Blum’s Blumhouse and James Wan’s Atomic Monster, which gave us the unforgettable M3GAN. But they’re not done scaring us just yet.
Their next project, Night Swim, promises to be a creepy and thrilling experience.
Based on the short film co-created by Bryce McGuire, “Night Swim” follows a family on the hunt for a new home. They stumble upon a fixer-upper with an enticing bonus – a swimming pool.
The father, Ray, played by Wyatt Russell, convinces his wife Eve, portrayed by Kerry Condon, that it’s the perfect house for them. Little do they know, the pool hides a sinister secret.
As their daughter Izzy, brilliantly played by Amélie Hoeferle, enjoys a game of Marco Polo with a friend in the pool, it becomes clear that something lurks beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to strike.
The trailer showcases the tension and terror that ensue, keeping you on the edge of your seat.
Not only does “Night Swim” offer a spooky and intriguing premise, but it also brings together two horror powerhouses as producers.
Blum and Wan’s partnership dates back a decade to their work on the Insidious franchise. They’re teaming up again to give us “M3GAN,” “Night Swim,” and other exciting horror projects, including an upcoming “Dead by Daylight” adaptation.
Stay tuned for more details about the story and mythology behind “Night Swim,” but prepare yourself for a terrifying plunge into the unknown for now.
This collaboration between Blumhouse and James Wan is a horror fan’s dream come true, and we can’t wait to see what nightmares they have in store for us next.
