December 12th, 2022. The duo’s first novel as a writing team, Serial Showgirl is an LGBTQ+ paperback crime thriller that’s making some serious waves on social media and in person alike, with readers holding the book (which features the lower half of a red-lipsticked face) up to their face and hashtagging #serialshowgirl.

The novel centers around Charlie Moreno, a young drag queen who takes justice into his own hands when his best friend is brutally raped and left for dead. With the narrative voice of a likable best friend and the twists and turns you’d expect in a crime thriller, this novel is exciting, with fans asking for more.

One reviewer on Amazon says, “Serial Showgirl is fun, unexpected, and full of heart. A rollercoaster ride of a story full of twists. The ending left begging for a sequel.”

Another reviewer says, “Love this story! Highly entertaining. Funny and touching. I felt like I was gossiping with my best friend. All the feels.”

Frankie Schreibman-Wingle, owner of the Metro Detroit publication METRA Magazine leaves this review:

“This story shows the multi-layered days that gay men experience, from finding themselves, being the light in the room, being someone’s rock and the glue to hold everything together….”

Serial Showgirl is more than a vigilante justice crime thriller; it’s the deeply emotional story of a young gay man’s struggle to not only survive in a society of toxic masculinity but to maintain his mental clarity when it’s so easy in the drag world for the illusion to become a delusion.

Now available on Amazon (paperback and Kindle) and wherever books are sold.
