Congratulations! to the RSFF Award nominations and winners

From September 8th-18th, 2022,the Royal Starr Film Festival was held at Emagine Theater in Royal Oak, MI.   This year the Royal Starr Film Institure joined ranks with Darren Brown of the Detroit Filmmaker’s Awards to present 80 different films. It also presented the Trailer Park Mix and Mingle Script Summit, Speedcast 3, The Business of Entertainment Panel, and the Directing Panel.

After the two-week festival, award winners of this year’s festival were announced.  The winners were in categories from Best Feature Documentary to Best Narrative Film and others.  Here is the list of winners. Congratulations to all who were nominated and those who ultimately won in each category.

An international movie gala based in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan, the annual festival attracts filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts from all over Michigan, the United States, and the world, featuring Michigan-made films and abroad.
