For 24 years, the East Lansing Film Festival has enhanced our cultural community with independent films that would otherwise never be seen in a theater. These creative, intelligent, informative films are shown multiple ways: in our two film festivals, ELFF and Lake Michigan Film Festival, in the curated Indie Film Series at Studio C, and exclusive screenings that support other organizations.

The ELFF organization has taken quite a financial hit from the pandemic that closed movie theaters and created a hesitancy by audiences to return to the theaters. Even with dwindling funds, we held 2 film festivals in June and November.
