Trinity Films Entertainment Group (TFEG) is committed to working purposefully to contribute to the sustainability and economic growth of the film community in metro Detroit.
To provide technical assistance for local filmmakers of color and support for film festivals.

We believe that the stories we tell, and the art we create, help us understand our world and make connections to others. Our work explores how cultural narratives affect and shape our reality, and film can contribute to fairer and more just societies.

Trinity Films Entertainment Group is the umbrella company for:

· Detroit Trinity International Film Festival (DTIFF) – a signature event for independent filmmakers worldwide to showcase independent movies. – Annual 15th year

· Detroit Black Film Festival – a signature event that elevates narratives that center the experiences and culture of Black people globally. – Annual (2nd)

· Fearless Tribe of Fanatic Filmmakers- – a project based in Detroit that supports and elevates stories made by African American filmmakers. – Monthly (6years)

Our initiatives include:
Master Classes – with highly renowned, accomplished, experts in the field of

Filmmaking and distribution.

Peer-to-peer learning with Detroit independent filmmakers.

Monthly discussions of the creative and professional production process.

Workshops – A hands-on experience for filmmakers to learn and improve specific skills such as screenwriting, sound, lighting, directing, editing, etc.
Film screenings, professional development, collaborations, independent film development, film production, and film director shadow opportunities.

Our programs & projects highlight strengthens and reinforces the narratives of the African Americans’ creative cultural vibrancy.

Our programming and projects are not new initiatives. TFEG has contributed to the production of 22 films, screened 2000 plus independent films, hosted over 650 filmmakers, attracted thousands of attendees from 40 states and 10 countries. TFEG is in the early stages of expanding its programs, platforms, and partnerships to elevate film communities globally.
