Wow! CDI’s feature ‘MBF: Man’s Best Friend’ packed the house last night

Wow!  What a night last night!  100s of people showed to watch and be part of the excitement of the Red Carpet premiere of CDI (Collective Development Inc.)  Tony Hornus directed “MBF: Man’s Best Friend.”

While it may be argued that part of this crowd was present for the screenings of the blockbusters “It” “Angel Has Fallen” and “Hustlers”– which were also scheduled for this same time slot at this small hometown mutliplex, NCG Owosso Cinema, Owosso, MI –you cannot argue with the size of the audience which showed for the 7:00 PM screening of CDI’s latest.

When Facebook posts announced that the 7:00 screening of the film had been sold out,  this was more than hyperbole intended to sell tickets People were packed so tight that there was not an single empty seat in the house. (as evidenced by these photos.) The empty seats were saved for others in attendance.

In a video streamed live by actors Shane Hagedorn and Lauren LeStrada,  you can see what the crowd looked like as the movie finished and people spilled out onto the floor of the main hall of the theater.  There were so many people present that it was nearly impossible to get any Red Carpet photos.

After the movie was over attendees gathered at the Roma Restaurant within walking distance of the theater for the after party.  As the theater was full,  so was the patio of the restaurant.  Here it was possible to get photos of the cast and crew of “MBF: Man’s Best Friend.”

“MBF: Man’s Best Friend” written by DJ Perry and directed by Tony Hornus features an all-star cast.  Included in the cast are DJ Perry  as Paul Landings,  Don Most as Ian Tapper,  Dean Teaster as Quinn Sawyer, David Michael Reardon as Charlie Sawyer, Tim Abell as Robert Landings, Anthony Hornus as Glenn, Garry Nation asEd Hammins, Melissa Anschutz as Lisa Bixby, Lauren LaStrada as Judge Judith Mays,  Shane Hagedorn as Deputy Palmer.  And this young man here, in the movie the youngest member of the all male Sawyer clan,  Wyatt Sawyer,  the already accomplished Walker Fairbanks (son of Heather Fairbanks, actress.)  This was Walker’s first major supporting role. Expect big things from him.
