Harley Wallen’s movie ‘Eternal Code,’ plus ‘Betrayed’ and ‘Bennett’s Song’ join slate of films to receive private screenings at Cannes Film Festival by Vision Films–“Enigma” and “Abstruse” are there with Green Apple Entertainment

Multi award-winning actor and director, Harley Wallen’s “Eternal Code“(formerly “Abeyance),  along with “Abstruse” and “Enigma,” all Painted Creek Productions, will join a slate of other independent films to receive private screenings at the Cannes Film Festival by Vision Films.

Written and directed by Harley Wallen, “Eternal Code” is a science fiction crime feature dealing with an illegal device which sustains life and can prove to be the fountain of youth. When CEO Bridget Pelligrini (played by Erika Hoveland, known for Injustice for All (2016), Before I Wake (2016) and Sparkle (2012)  finds a character flaw in the company they’ve partnered with to develop the prototype and decides to kill the deal, she realizes that this company will stop at nothing to maintain control of this device.

When she and her husband, Mark Pelligrini (played by Billy Wirth) are kidnapped,
their daughter Miranda Pelligrini (played by Angelina Danielle Cama) joins her unlikely allies Corey (a suicidal military veteran, played by Damien Chinappi ) and Stephanie (a prostitute, played by Kaiti Wallen ). to save her parents from those who would kill to live forever.

Eternal Code“stars Scout Taylor-Compton as Charlie (best known as Laurie Strobe “Halloween” (2007), Halloween II (2009)), Richard Tyson as Oliver, (best know for his roles of Buddy Revell in ‘Three O’Clock High’, Cullen Crisp in ‘Kindergarten Cop’ (opposite Arnold Schwartzenegger) and Perry in ‘Two Moon Junction’) and Billy Wirth as Mark Pellegrini ( who is known as Dwayne from the “The Lost Boys (1987))


“Eternal Code” will join these other Vision feature films debuting at the Cannes festival Adverse the science fiction thriller Xenophobia, and the faith drama A Murder of Innocence, which is based on the true-life events of a small town murder.

Enigma” and “Abstruse” are there with Green Apple Entertainment. “Eternal Code” is there with Vision Films who also has “Betrayed” and “Bennett’s Song.”

As this is the case, Harley Wallen will have a total of five different films screen at the Cannes Film Festival, May 14-25, and not three as previously reported.  This correction was made by Harley Wallen.
