These nominees include Zahirah Muhammad for her role as Janelle Johnson in the Kevin Flynn production of “Thru the Course of a Day,” Miranda Jones for her role in “The Lost Words Project”, Tiffanie Damier as Aleeysha Roweland in the Lazar Riches production of “Halt: the Motion Picture” and Tory Monay as Charlotte Palmer in “Weight.”

Tiffanie Damier (born Tiffanie Darshan Williams; February 13, 1985) was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Tiffanie loves to perform in all areas of acting. She began her career performing in stage plays, but has always aspired to work in television and film. She landed the lead role in her first feature films “Detentions” (2015) directed by Marc Cayce and “White House” (2015) directed by JaQuavis Coleman.
Written and directed by Jezar Riches, “Halt the Motion Picture” is based upon a true event that happens all to commonly by a white cop who pulls over a black couple when a simple traffic stop becomes a nightmare they will never forget.
Tory Monay
Tory Monay is an actress and producer, known for Charlotte Palmer in the Weight (2017). Watch for her in these upcoming productions, Child Support (post production) , and Flint Tale (filming).
Weight was written by Heather Jay Harris, and directed Brandon Cornett. It stars Dominique Alexander, Tristin Fazekas, LaVaughn ‘Big Gov’ Finley and is the story of Dub and Charlotte. Orphaned as young children after watching their parents get killed, Dub spent most of his life trying to protect his little sister from the street life by keeping her sheltered and sending her to college. While Leslie works on getting the charges dropped Dub is forced to sit in jail. Charlotte takes her new roll as king seriously. Dub used his to make his way to the top of the street game. Dub’s crew is made up of Rob, Turk and JUNKYARD. Together, they run the west side drug business. Charlotte, (who goes by Charlie now) isn’t convinced that Rob is the guy.
