Huntington Woods born and raised Kristen Bell, of “Frozen” fame, received her first Golden Globe nomination Thursday morning for her role in “The Good Place.”
This puts her in a great place this awards season.
It’s her first nomination in the big five of televised award shows, which also include the Emmys, the Oscars, the Grammys, and the Tonys. She’ll be competing for best actress in a TV comedy or musical for her performance in the NBC comedy.
“The Good Place” was also nominated for best comedy or musical TV series. It was created by Michael Schur of “Parks and Recreation,” who was born in Ann Arbor.
