Actor Corbin Bernsen has appeared on  the set of the Michigan based “A Bennett Song Holiday.”

“Arriving November 15, Corbin was on the set from November 16-19.” offered multi-award winning director Harley Wallen,  director of “A Bennett Song Holiday.”

An Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor,  Bernsen is best known for his role as Arnie Becker,  the opportunistic divorce lawyer from LA Law,  a show in which he appeared for the show’s eight-year run. In “A Bennett Song Holiday” Bernson appears as Aiden Neville, a real estate mogul with a chip on his shoulder. Being #1 and making hard decisions is his thing, and he generally thinks he knows best and doesn’t mind teaching others a lesson in the process of acquiring and conquering.

Said Wallen of Bernsen’s performance, “I have to say Corbin’s acting chops and screen presence haven’t lost a step! It was a great experience to have him on set. Not only did he perform his own sides to the max, but Corbin really gave the cast a lot to work with. He kept it fresh every take!

“Seeing the ownership of Corbin taking in the role was refreshing. Showing up with his script that he read all the way through with great thoughts on his character, you could tell how serious he takes it and how dedicated to his craft he is.”

Written by Nancy Oeswein, directed by Harley Wallen, “A Bennett Song Holiday”  resumes where the original “Bennett’s Song (originally entitled
United Colors of Bennett Song) left off.

The original “Bennett Song” was about two very unique families on a collision course who finds laughs, music, and love, and a few answers about what it means to be an American family in the 21st century.

In “A Bennett Song Holiday” the family overcomes new obstacles and finds new ways to celebrate the holidays.

With Bernsen, Dennis Haskins (Saved By the Bell, A Million Ways to Die in the West ),  Bryce Xavier (Alexa & Katie, Family Time), James Caverly (Broadway’s Children of a Lesser God), Calhoun Koenig (Moving Parts, Agramon’s Gate), Harley Wallen (Abstruse, Betrayed), and Aphrodite Nikolovski (Cut/Print, Answer This!) will also appear.

Said Wallen, “I believe Corbin takes “A Bennett Song Holiday” to the next level, and we can’t wait to share it with you next holiday season!”
