The official trailer fan film “Revenge of the Mask” has been released. Based on the Dark Horse comic series, “The Mask,” this fan film has been produced by Sides Studios.
Following a new character, Alan, who finds there is a thin line between hero and monster. This bloody adaptation blends the story elements created by Mike Richardson, the publisher, writer, and Emmy-winning producer who founded Dark Horse Comics, which created “The Mask” with the stylistic overtones from the 1994 film version.
“We just did a few things to make things a little bit more gory in some areas.” offered Dylan Sides recently.
This makes this fan film closer to the idea for the original movie, which the 1994 movie and sequel toned down to make only as dangerous as its wearer.
“Revenge of the Mask” is directed by Lance Kawas (known for Paid in Full (2016), Golden Shoes (2015), Fractured (2015)), with cinematography by Istvan Lettang (cinematographer, Devil’s Night: Dawn of the Nain Rouge). Dylan Sides is its executive producer.
“Revenge of the Mask” stars Michael Bugard (The Russian Sleep Experiment (2015)), Athena Isabel Lebessis (actress, American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007), Fractured (2015) and Royal Family Christmas (2015). and Tim Parrish.
Included in the cast are Brian Heintz, Ammar Nemo, Heather Fairbanks, Lindsey Sullivan, among others.
“Revenge of the Mask” is being produced by Sides Studio.
“Revenge of the Mask” will be dedicated to the people who helped bring these characters to life and the fans that love them. The short will premiere in October of 2018..

The video you offered isn’t working. I searched for it on YouTube and from what I saw it looks like a fan made trailer. The gangsters paradise music doesn’t work with the film.
