Print Friendly, PDF & Email

As part of promoting their new movie out now, “The Predator,” Olivia Munn and Keegan-Michael Key sat down for a new clip for Vanity Fair‘s “Slang School” series sharing slang from their respective childhood homes.

For Olivia Munn, it’s Japanese she picked up while growing up on an air base in Tokyo. For Key? Of course, it’s Detroit.

She says, “yo~tsu!” He says, “What up doe?”

It’s a fun look into the meanings of Detroit phrases and their meaning like “What up doe,” “Stunt,” “Hip,” “Chicken,” “Cheddar,” and “The Joe.”

Key has been very visible lately with a lot of Detroit-centric things as of late, including being the face of the Quicken Loans Rocket Mortgage TV commercial campaign.
