The Second Annual “I See You Awards®” have announced this year’s winners in the Short and Feature Film and Documentary Categories, and select other categories.     Selected from a long list of this year’s submissions,  the first films were nominated before they were selected and announced as this year’s winners.

A celebration of low-budget independent filmmakers,  The “I See You Awards®”  is a one-of-a-kind awards program created by Terri Lee Chandler, the film critic for WWJ Newsradio 950, Detroit’s only all-news radio station.

Currently a member of numerous professional associations, including the prestigious Broadcast Film Critics Association, the largest film critics group in the United States and Canada, which produces the annual Critics Choice Awards, Terri is also a member of the African-American Film Critics Association, the Detroit Film Critics Society and SAG-AFTRA.

After spending years trying to  bring her first  feature to the big screen,  Terri noticed that there was a void for low-budget independent filmmakers.  She realized that they needed and deserved to see their hard work, sacrifices and dedication recognized and rewarded, so the idea for the “I See You Awards®” was born.

Here are the winners for the 2018 “I See You Awards®”.
