Watch ’80s action hero Steven Seagal and Mike Tyson pummel each other in the action thriller “Chinese Salesman.”

Released last year in China,  this action picture will have US distribution in select theaters June 15,  and it hits VOD platforms June 20 as it has been acquired for US distribution by Cleopatra Entertainment.

Based on a true story in times of fake news, “China Salesman” takes us on a dangerous and epic adventure to Africa where a Chinese engineer/salesman (Mike Tyson) comes face-to-face with a corrupt competitor over the contract for the first mobile telecom technology in Africa.

Featuring explosions, bazookas, tanks and an eight-minute fight sequence between the action heavyweights,  this should BIG NEWS for every red-blooded, beer-swilling American who wants to watch this low-budget blow-em-up from the comfort of their couches.  Afterall, who wouldn’t be excited by the two square off in an eight-minute fight scene that pits Seagal’s lightning-fast palms against Tyson’s thunderous fists.

Credit should be given to director Tan Bing who had to make separate trips to the U.S. to persuade them both to come onboard.  He had to stroke the egos of both Tyson and Seagal before they’d do the movie.  The main issue, he says, was that “both wanted to be the winner of the fight,” saying it ended in a draw (it doesn’t, by the way).
