Estimated 600 people attend Nancy Oeswein’s red carpet premier of ‘United Colors of Bennett Song’

Over 600 people were present for Nancy Oeswein’s red carpet premier of her first feature film “United Colors of Bennett Song”. February 25, 2018  Filling three big theaters, this was, by some estimates, the largest attendance for any movie in Emagine Theater, Novi, Michigan history.

The culmination of 1 1/2 years work, “United Colors of Bennett Song” was written by Nancy Oeswein (Auburn Moon Productions), was directed by Harley Wallen (Painted Creek Productions), with cinematography by Michael Kettenbeil, lighting by Justin Ward, andstarring Tara Reid, Dennis Haskins, Aphrodita Nikolovski, Harley Wallen, (Callie) Calhoun Koenig, Dennis Marin, and surrounded by an amazing cast and crew, this production included a performance by the Rochester School of Rock.

“United Colors of Bennett Song” is the story of two very unique families on a collision course.  This story is filled with laughter, music, and love, and a few answers about what it means to be an American family in the 21st century.
