Actor Dennis Haskins will arrive at Detroit Metro airport today. Starring in Harley Wallen’s latest production, “Into a Dark Mind,” Haskins will play the part of Senator Stevens.
Says Wallen, “He plays the character of Senator Stevens, a powerful senator. This I believe to be the darkest role to date for Dennis.”
Haskins is best known for lighter fare. He played the part of Principle Richard Belding in the young adult series, “Saved by the Bell.”
He played the same character (Principal Richard Belding) in seven different series: Good Morning, Miss Bliss (1987), Saved by the Bell (1989), Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993), Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1993), The Rerun Show (2002), Robot Chicken (2005) and Victorious (2010).
Haskins was just in Harley Wallen’s production“Taken Over ” last year. He was brought back for a much larger role because of his strong dramatic acting in that film.
In “Into a Dark Mind,” Haskins plays the father of Justin Stevens, the man Amanda alleges killed her friend..
He will be in the Detroit Metro area until Monday for this shoot.
